HISTORY

Based on the need for healthcare services for the academic community and employees of IKIP Bandung, the Rector of IKIP Bandung at that time (1975) assigned Dr. Kemal Adyana to facilitate the establishment of the IKIP Bandung Polyclinic, along with several staff members, including midwife Een Rochaeni. The IKIP Polyclinic continued to grow, with additional healthcare services, including dental services, staffed by Dr. Linggiarti, Dr. Elly Rosmelia, Yuyu Yuliah, Trisna Sutiawati, and Ajan.

In 2000, the IKIP Bandung Polyclinic changed its status to the UPI Health Services Unit (UPI), headed by Dr. Hayat Solihin, M.Sc., with Dr. Adyana as Secretary. Yudy Hendrayana, M.Kes., AIFO, Along with the change in UPI’s status to a State-Owned Legal Entity (BHMN) in 2004, the SOTK of the health service unit (UPT) changed from 2008 to 2015, changing it to the UPI Polyclinic. From 2008 to 2015, it was headed by Dr. Ambar Sulianti, M.Kes. (2008-2010), and then by Dr. Lucky Angkawidjaja R.

In 2024, it was headed by Dr. Setyo Wahju Wibowo, M.Kes.
